Une herbe. La fausse tige de 1-1,5 m de haut. Le rhizome est allongé. Les feuilles n'ont pas de tiges. Le limbe de la feuille est étroit et 20-30 cm de long sur 1,2-2,5 cm de large. La tige de la fleur est dressée et longue de 6 à 10 cm. Les fleurs sont portées séparément. Ils sont blancs avec une lèvre veinée de rouge. Le fruit est une capsule rouge et ronde.
