Un arbre. Il atteint 8 m de haut. Il perd ses feuilles au cours de l'année. Les jeunes rameaux sont velus. Les tiges des feuilles sont en forme de massue et poilues et mesurent 5 à 10 mm de long. Le limbe mesure 5 à 15 cm de long et 4 à 8 cm de large. Ils ont 5-7 côtes. Ils peuvent avoir 3 petits lobes. Les fleurs sont en groupes de 2 à 4. Ils sont jaunes et mesurent 1,5 cm de diamètre.
