Un arbre épineux. Il atteint une hauteur de 5 à 10 m. Le tronc est court et mesure 30 à 50 cm de diamètre. L'écorce est grise et rugueuse. La couronne est ronde et dense. Les tiges et les branches s'étalent horizontalement. Les feuilles sont fines et simples et rigides. Les veines sont faciles à voir sur le dessus de la feuille. Les feuilles mesurent 5 à 10 cm de long et 3 à 6 cm de large. Le fruit est rond et jaune et charnu avec une pierre à l'intérieur. La pulpe est épaisse, douce et charnue. C'est une plante non drageonneuse et peut donc être utilisée comme porte-greffe pour Jujube{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
