Un arbre touffu. Il peut atteindre 12 m de haut. Le tronc peut mesurer 36 cm de diamètre. La couronne est ronde et feuillue. Les feuilles sont simples et opposées. Ils mesurent 2,5 à 4 cm de long. Ils sont vert vif lorsqu'ils sont jeunes et gris-vert à maturité. Les fleurs sont petites et vert pâle. Ils peuvent apparaître seuls ou en petits groupes sur de longues tiges minces à l'aisselle des feuilles. Les fruits sont lisses. Ils sont ovales et mesurent 0,6-1,3 cm de long.
