Un arbuste ou un petit arbre. Il atteint une hauteur de 2 à 10 m. Les jeunes branches sont de section carrée. Il peut y avoir des ailes. Les limbes des feuilles mesurent 3 à 11 cm de long sur 2 à 5 cm de large. Ils sont étroitement ovales. Il y a 7 à 50 fleurs dans un groupe. Le fruit a un noyau et le fruit mesure 5-7 mm de long sur 6-8 mm de large. Il est noir à maturité. La pierre mesure 6 mm de long sur 4 mm de large{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
