Une herbe. Elle pousse de 10 à 15 cm de haut. La plante met 2 ans à mûrir. Il y a de petits poils blancs sur la plante. Les feuilles sont blanches longues et étroites. Ils mesurent 2 à 6 cm de long sur 3 à 10 mm de large. Les feuilles tombent après le développement des fleurs. Les fleurs mâles et femelles sont en grappes séparées. Ils sont jaunes. Les fruits sont ovales.
