        Un arbre de taille moyenne. Il atteint 20 m de haut. Les branches s'étalent. L'écorce est gris-jaune clair et lisse. Les feuilles sont opposées et coriaces. Ils sont d'un vert brillant. Les feuilles sont ovales et mesurent 10 à 15 cm de long sur 4 à 6 cm de large. Ils ont de nombreuses veines latérales fines qui sortent perpendiculairement à la nervure médiane. La structure florale n'est pas ramifiée et ils se trouvent à l'aisselle des feuilles. Les fleurs sont blanches et ont les deux sexes. Ils mesurent 2 à 2,5 cm de diamètre. Le fruit est rond, se terminant par une pointe. Il mesure 2,5 cm de diamètre et est jaunâtre. Il a une couche ligneuse autour de la graine{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
