Une petite plante herbacée annuelle feuillue. Les tiges reposent souvent sur le sol. Ils peuvent mesurer 30 cm de long. Il forme des racines aux nœuds. Les feuilles sont petites et charnues. Ils sont opposés et sans tiges. Ils sont largement en forme d'épée et peuvent mesurer 2 cm de long sur 1 cm de large. Il y a 1 à 8 fleurs dans un groupe.
