Un petit arbre. Il atteint une hauteur de 4 à 6 m. L'écorce est grise et rugueuse. Les feuilles sont composées. Il y a 1 à 3 paires de longues folioles. Les dépliants sont opposés. Celles-ci mesurent 6 à 15 cm de long sur 0,5 à 2 cm de large. Ils se rétrécissent jusqu'à la base. Les fleurs sont blanches et velues. Ils mesurent 0,8 à 1 cm de diamètre. Le fruit est velu.
