Une herbe. Elle est court et glabre. Il peut mesurer 20 cm de haut. Il peut compléter son cycle de vie en 2 ans ou continuer à croître pendant plusieurs années. Les feuilles se trouvent principalement dans la moitié inférieure de la tige. Ils sont oblongs avec des folioles le long de la tige. Les segments sont étroits. Les bords des feuilles ont de minuscules épines blanches. Les capitules sont jaunes et mesurent 20 à 26 mm de diamètre. Les akènes mesurent 3-4 mm de long{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
