        Une vigne ou un grimpeur en difficulté. Cela peut être annuel ou pérenne. Il a une base ligneuse et des vrilles. Il mesure 3 à 5 m de long. Les tiges sont anguleuses et très velues. Les feuilles mesurent 15 à 20 cm de long. Les feuilles ont 3 folioles. Les folioles ont 3 lobes qui sont ovales et ont des dents grossières. Ils sont vert clair, fins et velus. Les folioles mesurent 0,5 à 2 cm de large. Les fleurs ont 4 pétales blancs. Les fleurs sont portées par groupes de 3 ou 4. Les fleurs mesurent 7 cm de long. Les fleurs ont un parfum délicat. Le fruit est une capsule en forme de ballon à 3 coins avec 6 côtes proéminentes. Ils sont vert pâle et deviennent du papier à maturité. Ils mesurent 2-3 cm de long. Ils se sont séparés pour libérer 1 à 3 graines noires. Les graines mesurent 5 mm de diamètre. Ils sont attachés au centre d'une aile en papier{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
